| There are some genera in all families of bdelloid rotifers, in which (up to now: 2020) no eyespots have been observed (in other genera of the same families some (not all!) species may have frontal or cervival eyespots). So if in a bdelloid rotifer some eyespots are securely identified it is possible to exclude the following genera: |
