There are two CD available with animated pictures made with ARTMATIC featuring some of the organisms on the previous pages and also other pictures: ” The Secret Life in the ARTMATIC Sea" . Each CD contains 6 to 10 Quicktime videos (Resolution 384 x 384 pixels) about 60 seconds long each. Each film took about 2 to 3 hours of rendering time on a very fast 400 MHz Powermac G4 computer (that means up to 30 hours of rendering time in totlal !!) We have made a VERY small example (30 sec ; 64 x 64 pixel) available (”Butterfly”) . Some snapshots ot of the movie you can see below.
